PAVILION

Dooley Construction constructed this open-air pavilion next to a large estate home we built almost twenty years ago. The property consists of 18 acres on the ocean in the Upper Keys. The owners wanted to complement the property with an area to entertain family and friends or a space for serenity. It is framed with rough cut poles, posts, and beams. It consists of 4,000 sq. ft. of wood floors, railings and trim from 1930’s reclaimed Dade County Pine. A large raised Jacuzzi wrapped in pine to simulate a large rain barrel or cistern sits on the lower deck. Dooley Construction crafted all the cabinetry and furniture from reclaimed hardwoods cut from the property many years ago. The project was fun and rewarding at the same time.
